WHAT IS BUBBLE POP?

“Life is nothing without community and sharing our creativity with one another.”

— Ashleymarie Sey Lively, curator and artist of Bubble Pop Gallery.

Bubble Pop is a pop-up gallery located in Bakersfield, CA. Bubble Pop seeks to bring creatives together in themed pop-up art shows.

Bubble Pop Gallery was founded by artist and curator Ashleymarie Sey Lively of Sey Studios in December of 2017, with their first show opening in February 2018. Sey is a professional artist who runs her own art business as well as this fun pop-up gallery. She has curated other artist exhibitions in the past, but a dream of hers was to open her own gallery where artists from all walks of life could showcase together.

The mission of Bubble Pop Gallery is to make a memorable environment and fun uniquely themed shows that bring everyone together. Shows currently pop-up in the heart of downtown Bakersfield in the East Lobby of The Fox Theater during the First Friday Bakersfield art walk. After the opening, the exhibits move over to the walls of Temblor Brewing Co., a famous brewery where the show remains on display until the next show cycles through.
